    • Afghanistan

      We are working through the American-Afghanistan Foundation, chaired by US Representative Ritter (R-Pa), and directly with His Highness Prince Ali Seraj of the Royal House of Afghanistan. At least ten of the US priories are providing funds to support classrooms in Afghanistan for one year. The teacher will be paid and some school supplies will be provided.

      Aid has included medical equipment containers and annual financial donations, in partnership with the St.Louis Clinic, run by Templar Chev. Dr Nick Ngwanyam and his wife Dame Florence Titu Manjong (Regensburg Commandary, GP Germany). Funding has also been derived from the sale of The History of the Order of the Temple of Jerusalem from 1118 to 2005 by Leo Thys.

    • Ethiopia

      Medical supplies have been sent from the GPUSA Priory of the Mountain House of the Lord to Ethiopia. Their delivery was coordinated with Dr. Belai Habte-Jesus, MD KCTJ who is Chancellor of the Ethiopian Imperial Court.
       

    • Congo

      GP France has donated a mammograph to the General Hospital in Kinshasa. The equipment was shipped to the hospital with the assistance of GP Italy.

    • Sierra Leone

      We have shipped over 20,000 doses of antibiotic drugs to H.E. Archbishop Joseph Ganda of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Freetown to help the victims of the civil war in that nation.

      We are offering continued support in cooperation with the Grand Priory of Serbia to provide clothes and playground equipment in Kosovo. H.E. Metropolitan Christopher GMTJ, Head of the Serbian Church of USA and Canada, is providing the highest level of Church support to assure that the project is completed.
       

    • Sofia, Bulgaria

      Flood Relief initiated by the Regensburg Commandary (GP Germany), delivering medical equipment and supplies used in 2005 flood relief. This project is an annual mission in partnership with our Bulgarian Templar Brethren. The project was also done in co-operation with GP Italy and GP Serbia.

      • Church-clinic train in Russia

        A mobile church/hospital train for Arkangelsk Oblast (Archangel Region) has been in operation since June 2002. This project was organized under the leadership of Bishop Tikhon (Russian Orthodox Church). The train brings Russian Orthodox services to a large portion of the underserved northern region of Russia. Three cars of this train are financed by the GPUSA Priory of St. Norbert.
